Dust

Last week one of my good friends came over and de-dusted my house.  Like Amelia Bedelia, I think DE-dusting makes much more sense then Dusting. :)  I'm afraid she found dust in areas of my house I should have been keeping up on but with all the construction going on around here I have become a lazy house keeper.  Okay, that's a fib, I've always been a lazy housekeeper but nevermind IT'S CLEAN NOW!!! Loooove having a clean house... so why am I uprooting my family and moving to a barn in the country with LOADS of dust?  Who wouldn't?  Putting the duster aside I have been researching other barns that have been renovated into homes and I've found some amazing projects!
Don't you just love the high ceilings and all the rustic wood touches in this?

I love the use of large windows and the chandelier with all the open posts and beams but I cringe at the heating bill!! Check out more of this gorgeous barn

This is an old dairy barn converted into a house. Once again I love the windows.

Our barn is not old.  In fact I think it was built in the 1970's but it still was used as a horse barn. I'm looking forward to the loads of construction dust we are going to be stirring up soon!
